In full disclosure, we’re partial to Costa Mesa. It’s home. And so we’re extra excited to announce Costa Mesa’s Restaurant Week. It’s time to try the city’s stellar new and established restaurants and take advantage of three or more course prix fixe menus at value prices.
Twenty-eight premium restaurants have joined the inaugural Costa Mesa Restaurant Week continuing through Friday, Aug. 26.
It’s difficult to choose where we want to eat first. South Coast Plaza’s fave restaurants are on the list including AnQi, Charlie Palmer, Hamamori, Seasons 52, The Capital Grille, Nello Cucina, and Quattro Café; plus there are other incredible restaurants like Avanti Café, Scott’s Seafood, and the new Silver Trumpet.
For a complete list of restaurants visit Costa Mesa Restaurant Week.
Oh the Choices!
Want to know what menus speak to us on Costa Mesa’s Restaurant Week?
Three featured favorites include two tasty Italian restaurants, Pizzeria Ortica and Ecco, and fine Indian cuisine at Royal Khyber.
Pizzeria Ortica’s three-course lunch for $18.11 starts with an antipasti e insalate with a choice of prosciutto e melone; or a tricolore salad with radicchio, arugula, endive, apples, gorgonzola, and candied walnuts.
Next is a choice of margherita pizza with crushed San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, basil; or an Arthur Avenue Panini with mortadella, capocolla, porchetta, provolone, spicy peppers, and nonnas slaw; or oven roasted vegetables, burrata, and basil oil.
Finally, you'll get a delicious honey panna cotta for dessert.
At dinner, there’s a three-course meal that starts with a choice of tuscan melon and prosciutto; or a burrata ravioli, fresh tomato and basil; or roasted radishes, pistachios, burrata, basil oil.
The second course includes a choice of Mary’s free range chicken breast and thigh griddled under a brick; or pan roasted local cod, with pistachio pureé, and blistered grape tomatoes; or slow braised pork shank, sweet corn polenta, and gremolata. For dessert, a honey panna cotta.
